Returns, Refunds & Shipping Policy
At Oceania Mart, we are committed to providing quality products and excellent customer service. This policy outlines our returns, replacements, refunds, and shipping procedures. Nothing in this policy excludes or limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
Shipping

Orders are processed and dispatched as quickly as possible.

Approved replacement parts are generally delivered within 3–7 business days.
Damaged or Faulty Items
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or with missing parts, please contact us as soon as possible.
To help us process your claim quickly, please provide:

Clear photos of the damaged item or part.

A short video showing the damage where possible.

A photo of the assembly manual with the damaged part clearly circled.
Our team will assess your claim and determine the appropriate solution.
Where a replacement part is suitable, we will send it to your delivery address. Approved replacement parts are generally delivered within 3–7 business days.
Sale Items
We do not accept change-of-mind returns or refunds for sale or clearance items.
If a sale item arrives damaged or has a minor fault, we will provide replacement parts where appropriate.
If a product has a major fault as defined under the Australian Consumer Law, you may be entitled to a replacement, refund, or other remedy in accordance with your rights under the ACL.
Change of Mind Returns (Non-Sale Items Only)
We accept change-of-mind returns for non-sale items only.
To be eligible:

You must notify us within 5 days of receiving your order.

The item must be unused, unassembled, and in resaleable condition.

All original accessories, hardware, manuals, and packaging must be included.
If the original packaging is unavailable, you must securely repack the item in a box of a similar size that provides adequate protection during transit.
Change of Mind Return Fees (Non-Sale Items Only)
For approved change-of-mind returns, the following refund conditions apply:

If a return shipping label is provided by Oceania Mart: Your refund will be the total order amount minus the original shipping charge, the return shipping cost, and a 15% restocking fee.

If a return shipping label is not provided by Oceania Mart: Your refund will be the total order amount minus the original shipping charge and a 15% restocking fee. The customer is responsible for arranging and paying for the return shipping.

Return to Sender (RTS): If you change your mind before receiving your order and request that the parcel be returned to sender, your refund will be the total order amount minus the original shipping charge and a 15% restocking fee.
These fees apply only to approved change-of-mind returns. They do not apply where you are entitled to a refund, replacement, or other remedy under the Australian Consumer Law due to a major fault or where otherwise required by law.
Return Approval Process
Before returning your item:

Pack the product securely.

Email us clear photos of the packaged item.

Wait for our approval before sending the item back.

Once approved, we will provide return instructions and, where applicable, a return shipping label.
Returns sent without prior approval may be refused.
Return Shipping
For approved change-of-mind returns:

Small items can usually be returned via your local post office.

Large or bulky furniture items may be collected by one of our courier partners, depending on courier availability in your area.
Unless the return is due to a fault, damaged item, or our error, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
Refunds
After receiving and inspecting the returned item, we will notify you of the outcome.
If your return is approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method.
Please note:

Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless required under the Australian Consumer Law.

Refunds may take several business days to appear in your account, depending on your financial institution.
Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
If the failure is not major, you are entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced within a reasonable time.
